Novatex is proud to announce its tree planting project for CO2 reduction. In a world full of social and environmental challenges, once again Novatex wants to leave a valuable trace standing out for its inspiring contribution to the cause. We believe that it is possible to generate positive impacting solutions, if we start from small responsible actions and aim at major systemic goals. The company has recently decided to foster biodiversity by planting a Novatex Forest in different rural territories where reforestation can unleash an array of significant effects, from reducing carbon footprint to supporting local communities.

Novatex’s tree planting project for CO2 reduction

The Novatex Forest originates as part of a multi-year reforestation project carried out by Treedom. With more than 4.000.000 trees planted in Africa, South America and Italy, Treedom is the first platform in the world that allows you to plant a tree from a distance and follow the story of the project online. Currently, the Novatex Forest includes 200 trees in Ghana and 200 trees in Tanzania but this tree planting project for CO2 reduction will grow by expanding the Forest over the coming years.

These actions have the intent to bring benefits to the environment, as we have a medium-long term maintenance plan for the trees we plant. Socially these operations have a remarkably positive impact on the local people involved in planting, taking care of the plants in their growth stage and, in the case of cash crops, they can be rewarded for the resources they produce.
